MonQuartier Bénin: neighborhood information where people already are
A concept for cities in Benin: verified local news and citizen reports through WhatsApp, with a dashboard for city staff. I built the identity, the citizen site and an interactive demo of the municipal side.
The idea
In much of West Africa, WhatsApp is the main way people get information. The concept: each neighborhood gets an official channel with verified news (road works, water and power cuts, health alerts), residents report problems with a photo and location, and reports are routed to the right department — with a public follow-up.
What I built
- A full brand identity: name, logo (speech bubble + map pin), green/gold/red palette and typography
- A citizen website explaining the service, how to join and how to report a problem
- A WhatsApp simulator showing consent, the menu, a report with photo and location, and a poll
- A “Pilotage” dashboard for city staff: alerts and response times, fact-checking before publishing, neighborhood map and a monthly report
- Mobile-money flows (MTN MoMo / Moov) for classified ads and local sponsors

Design choices
MonQuartier Bénin is a concept and interactive demo with fictional data — not a live government service. It shows how such a system could work and what I can design and build.
