Babaodi CRM: one place to see who to call today

A custom CRM I designed and built for a small service business — mine. It runs my own leads today, and a public demo with fictional data shows exactly how it works.

The problem

Leads arrive from a website form, a booking page and email. Follow-ups live in someone's head, quotes go out as attachments and nobody knows which ones were opened. Off-the-shelf CRMs can do this, but the useful features sit behind per-user plans, and the setup rarely matches how a one- or two-person business actually sells.

What I built

  • Overview — today's priorities, open pipeline value and tasks due
  • Contacts & companies with a full timeline of messages, meetings and notes
  • Deal pipeline — drag cards between stages; founding-client discounts and monthly plans tracked per deal
  • Proposals with client links — the client opens a private link, then accepts or declines; the first open is logged
  • Automation engine — e.g. every new website lead creates exactly one reply task
  • AI assistant (Claude) with read-only tools: summaries and draft emails that a person reviews before sending
  • Website integration — the contact form writes each lead to the CRM; booking-page meetings sync every 15 minutes

Architecture

HostingCloudflare Pages for the app; Pages Functions and a Worker for the API and scheduled jobs.
DataCloudflare D1 (SQLite), with migrations and a separate demo database.
LoginCloudflare Zero Trust Access: one-time codes by email; every API call checks the access token.
AIClaude through the Anthropic API, read-only tools, a daily cap and a usage log.
AutomationsA small rules engine shared by the app, the website form and a 15-minute cron.
Front endPlain JavaScript and CSS — fast, light and dark themes, works on a phone.

Results so far

It's young, so I won't invent numbers. What I can say: every website lead now lands in one place with a reply task, quotes are tracked from sent to viewed to accepted, and hosting costs stay low because it runs on Cloudflare's platform. The same approach can be shaped around another business's process.

The public demo uses fictional people and companies. Changes you make there stay in your browser, and "Reset demo" starts over.

Let's see if this fits your business.
