Ivy Terms of Service
These terms apply when your business uses Ivy — the voice assistant, the receptionist, or both. By using Ivy you agree to them.
Last updated: October 16, 2026
1. Who we are
Ivy is provided by Babaodi Tech Solutions, based in Houston, Texas ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected].
2. The service
Ivy Assistant lets your team ask questions out loud and hear answers from the systems you connect (for example your calendar, email or CRM). Ivy Receptionist answers calls to your business number, shares information you provide, collects caller details, books appointments, takes messages and transfers calls according to your settings. Ivy Complete includes both.
Features may change as we improve Ivy. We will tell you before removing something your plan depends on.
3. Accounts and phones
Your business administrator decides who can use Ivy. Each person pairs their own phone with a one-time code and can only see what their own accounts allow. You are responsible for the people you add, for keeping devices secure, and for removing access when someone leaves (any phone can be switched off from the admin at any time).
4. Acceptable use
Don't use Ivy to break the law, to call or text people who haven't agreed to hear from you, to send spam, to harass anyone, to impersonate others, to collect data you aren't allowed to collect, or to try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service.
5. AI has limits
Ivy uses artificial intelligence. She can misunderstand, mishear or be wrong. Check anything important before you rely on it. Ivy does not give legal, medical, financial or other professional advice, and callers should not treat her answers as such.
6. Prepared, not sent
Emails, messages, tasks and meetings that Ivy prepares for your team are drafts until a person taps Confirm. You are responsible for what you confirm and send.
7. Call recording and caller consent
When call recording is turned on, Ivy tells callers at the start that the call may be recorded. Some states require the consent of everyone on a call. You choose whether to record and you are responsible for following the recording, consent and telemarketing laws that apply to your business and your callers.
8. Your data
Your data stays yours. Ivy reads what she needs from the systems you connect to answer a question or finish a task; she doesn't keep a copy of your mailbox, calendar or client files. What we do store, and why, is in the Ivy Privacy & Data Policy.
9. Health information
Ivy is not currently offered as a HIPAA-compliant service and we do not sign business associate agreements. Don't use Ivy to collect or handle protected health information.
10. Fees and billing
Fees, included usage (such as call minutes) and billing dates are as agreed in your order or proposal. Usage beyond what's included may be billed as agreed. Phone numbers and third-party charges you ask us to set up may be passed through.
11. Ending the service
You can stop using Ivy as agreed in your order. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously broken or payments stop. When the service ends, you can ask us to delete your data, and we'll release any phone number we hold for you on request where the carrier allows.
12. No warranty
Ivy is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it running and accurate, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or right for every purpose. It depends on phone carriers, internet connections and other services we don't control.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses (such as lost profits, lost business or missed calls), and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for Ivy in the 3 months before the claim.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.
15. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell your administrator before it takes effect. Questions: [email protected].
